Hi! I'm Jordan.
I'm thankful that you've stopped by! I'm a wife, mama, die hard lover of Diet Dr. Pepper, feely Enneagram 4, and documentarian at heart. I'm a goofball who loves quoting obscure lines from the Office, yet I'm also no stranger to crying at commercials if they get the message just right. I'm a person who practices 'the art of remembering' -- the good, the beautiful, the imperfect, and the painful. Since I was little, I've always wanted to hold on to moments because it felt like they were going by way too fast. I believe that life is a sacred gift and I have a heightened awareness of how relentless time can be. Photography allows me to hold on to the details-- remembering all of the millions of reasons that I'm grateful to be alive. This craft means so much to me because it serves as tangible proof that our lives are full of wonder even during challenging seasons. For me, taking photos is a practice in looking for the good. I love documenting my life through photography, film, and memory-keeping (via printed photobooks and other projects). It fills me with so much joy and I hope to translate that passion into every photograph I take of you and those you love. When I take photos of you and yours, I don't expect you to be anything other than who you are. Because who you are, authentically in this moment, is absolutely enough and worth remembering. I would be honored to be one who can help make the intangible feel a little more within your grasp. 🖤
